  • What time do the races start?

    Gates open 3.00pm
    Qualifying and early Racing from 5.00pm
    Main Racing from 6pm
    Finish time approximately 10.30pm

  • Is there parking and what is the cost?

    There are two speedway car parks (free) which cater for approximately 500 vehicles. One is located within the speedway grounds, while the other is across Kennett Road.General Parking is free. Limited street parking is also available on Kennett Road


    Please Note: Parking overlooking the track is available on a first in best dressed basis at a cost of $20 per car. There are approximately 50 places available on any night but cannot be reserved.

  • Is there reserved seating?

    There are no reserved seats, although there is plenty of room at the facility with a capacity of 7,000 people. You are welcome to bring your deck chair or alternatively you may bring a rug and sit on the grassed hill.


    For Premium Seating, tickets are available in the air conditioned clubrooms and corporate decking. However spaces fill fast, particularly at popular events.

  • Where can I sit?

    The General Admission area stretches from turn four, terraced main straight & turn one, and the grassed turn two hill. The venue offers a great amphitheatre atmosphere with great viewing overlooking the River Murray and township.

  • Can I bring food and drinks into the venue?

    Patrons may bring homemade food items to the venue such as baked goods, sandwiches and drinks of water, juice or cordial for personal consumption only. Products from external caterers and or suppliers are not permitted.

  • Can I bring an esky?

    Yes. However please note NO GLASS can be brought onto premises.

  • Can I bring in alcohol?

    No. Murray Bridge Speedway is a licensed premises and the bringing in of alcohol is prohibited. Alcohol is available for purchase.

  • How do I purchase tickets?

    Tickets are available at the front General Admission gates for race nights, just inside the Speedway boundary on Kennett Road. General Admission gates generally open at 2.00pm EFTPOS / credit card facilities are available at the gate to purchase your tickets. Special events may have an earlier opening time. Check the home page closer to each event.

  • Can I hire a corporate box for the night?

    Murray Bridge Speedway has an exceptional corporate clubroom facility offering both air conditioned comfort and a covered outdoor decking area. With a capacity of 300 people, smaller groups of 30 or more can be accommodated with your own designated reserved seating.

  • What sort of merchandise is available to purchase?

    Murray Bridge Speedway's Merchandise shop is stocked full of Speedway and USC merchandise and memorabilia including T-Shirts, Hoodies, Die-cast cars, Hats, Key Rings, Mousepads, Glow Stixs, Seat Cushions, etc. EFTPOS / credit card facilities are available at the Pit Stop Shop.

  • What food is available to purchase?

    The speedway has food and drink outlets serving hot food such as hot chips, pies, hot dogs, hamburgers, BBQ, hot donuts, cappuccinos and lattes, etc. Full ranges of cold drinks the from Coca Cola range are available.

  • What is the rainout, cancellation or refund policy?

    A RAINOUT IS DEFINED AS FIVE (5) EVENTS OR LESS BEING SUCCESSFULLY DECLARED COMPLETED.
    In the event of a declared rainout, the track you purchased your ticket from, Murray Bridge Speedway, will honour rainchecks, but will not refund money - no exceptions. Your numbered ticket stub is your raincheck.
    Hold all original tickets. No replacements will be given for lost, or tampered tickets.

    Rainchecks will be honoured at any one (1) event (of equal or lesser value, not higher priced) at the venue in the same racing season. Not transferable to future seasons or other tracks.

    How to use a Rain Out ticket:
    Choose an “equal or lesser priced” event, from the current season calendar of the venue you purchased your ticket from. Present your ticket to the cashier. The cashier will check your numbered ticket stub for validity. If valid, you will be provided with a new ticket.

  • Where is Murray Bridge Speedway located?

    The speedway is located on Kennett Road on the east side of the River Murray. If coming from Adelaide, drive through the town and over the old Murray Bridge and turn right onto Kennett Road approximately 1km after the Bridge.

  • What is the best time to arrive at Murray Bridge Speedway?

    On-track action usually starts at 5pm, so plan to arrive in time to find yourself a seat and get ready for the racing. Please check the event page for the event you plan on attending which will detail specific start times.

  • Can I take photos/video?

    Photos can be taken for personal use only. Photos taken from Murray Bridge Speedway may be displayed on the internet and/or distributed so long as there is no commercial charge involved. Filming of events at Murray Bridge Speedway are prohibited.


    Commercial Use: Patrons that wish to take photos for commercial use must seek written approval from Murray Bridge Speedway in advance.


    Patrons acknowledge that any film or moving pictures and any sound recording of any events at Murray Bridge Speedway are prohibited and should not be displayed for any commercial use (Facebook is a commercial social media platform) in any public manner.


    A person cannot make or reproduce or use any film or other form of photograph, moving picture, still pictures or any sound recording of the events or any part of it for profit, gain, public advertisement, display or for any other purpose except for the private enjoyment of the person, without the consent of Made Too Go Pty Ltd.


    If a person makes or reproduces or uses photos of the event or any part of it with or without the consent of the Made Too Go Pty Ltd, that person must on request by Made Too Go Pty Ltd assign, in writing, all copyright, all intellectual property and any derived remuneration received from the photos to Made Too Go Pty Ltd.


  • Can I purchase a ticket to the pit area?

    Yes, pit tickets are available to purchase from the pit entrance from 2pm or they are available from the speedway office window inside the general admission area for for an additional cost on race nights from 4.30pm.
    You must be over 16 years of age to enter the pit area, be wearing enclosed footwear and not under the influence of alcohol.

  • What is Murray Bridge Speedway's concession card policy?

    Concession ticket prices are available for Disability and Aged Pensioners only. A valid government issued concession card must be presented at the entry gates when purchasing your tickets. One concession ticket will be available per concession card holder. Companion Cards are recognised at Murray Bridge Speedway events. On presentation of the Companion Card, a ticket will be offered at Disability and Aged Pensioners rates.
