Racing returns to Murray Machining & Sheds, Murray Bridge Speedway this Saturday night, April 10th with 410 Sprintcars set to make their final appearance for the 2020/2021 Season.
Several hard charging SA ‘locals' are again set to shine and all will be eager to finish off the season with a feature win to their name. Brad Keller is the current pick of the bunch, enjoying 3 podium places including 2 feature wins at MMS this season. Ryan Jones, Steven Caruso and Joel Heinrich all know their way around the circuit, while Lisa Walker has been on the cusp of a feature win so many times. Luke Dillon is also nominated for his second run of the season, while Sydney-sider Jesse Attard will also return to the venue.
After a rain-affected event earlier in the year, the SA Vintage Classic Show will also feature on the April 10th program, with a series of demonstration runs from 'All Classic Speedway Cars’ - including Speedcars, Stock Rods/Hot Rods, Super Modifieds/Sprintcars and Saloons/Super Sedans. Close to 30 cars from yesteryear will be out on the track in what represents the great history of our sport. Street Stocks will round out the night's racing program.
Tickets for the event are on sale now from www.speedwaytickets.com.au, with gates opening at 4pm and racing from 5pm. Canteen and bar facilities will be available on the night. Spectators are currently capped at 2600 under current Covid-19 Restrictions; and we prefer all tickets to be purchased online to assist with these current conditions.
COMING UP... Our final event for the season will take place the following weekend on Saturday, April 17th with the running of the Demolition Derby World Record Attempt. Will over 95+ cars already nominated, it is sure to be an action-packed night! The MJS Street Stock Series, along with Super Sedans, Wingless Sprints and Modlites will complete the night’s racing.
